Als ich dieses Bild mit dem Spruch: "Please let us live in peace and respect each life!", gestaltete, war an den aktuellen Krieg in der Ukraine oder an Corona noch lange nicht zu denken. Der Slogan richtete sich ursprünglich an all die anderen Kriege, die Gewalt, die Menschen in verschiedenen Ländern widerfährt und sollte auch zum respektvollen Umgang mit der Natur mahnen. Heute ist dieses Bild aktueller als je zuvor. In meinen Augen steht es für ein friedliches, respektvolles und wertschätzendes Miteinander unter allen Menschen, mit Tieren und einem verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit der Natur. When I designed this picture with this saying: "Please Let Us Live in Peace and Respect Each Life!", the slogan originally aimed at all the other wars, violence that happens to people in different countries and should also warn the respectful way of dealing with nature. Today this image is more up-to-date than ever. In my eyes, it stands for peaceful, respectful and appreciative coexistence among all people, with animals and a responsible handling of nature.
